Ashton used to be unresponsive to dancing and singing but after attending Little Neuro Tree, otherwise known as Trio Centre, he began to like it.  (Read post on Ashton In Little Neuro Tree)

So every now and then, Ashton will hum us a song or two but last night, something amazing happened.  Ashton suddenly sang to us Mary Had a Little Lamb in JAPANESE….yes, in JAPANESE. (See Video Below)

He must have learnt it in Little Neuro Tree i thought because that is the only place he is exposed to Japanese language until Elaine tugged my shirt and told me “Little Neuro Tree did not teach this song at all”.

Apparently, he self-learn himself while listening to the Japanese music CD we bought from Little Neuro Tree and played in the car.  David Ng, Director of Little Neuro Tree (Trio Centre) is right “Introduce new languages to your child as early as possible and once they like to learn through fun and play, picking up languages will be a breeze in future”.

We were both stunned and quickly took out our camera recorded it…see and hear it for yourself Ashton singing Mary Had a Little Lamb in Japanese below.  Can’t wait to enrol Ashlyn into Little Neuro Tree.  Humm, will do so this Apr 09.
