I refer to my previous post of Running a Brick and Mortar Business where i shared a video on BrandMastery.
Ever since that post, we have been working on trying to bring the sales of Xiao Bei Taiwan Food by applying his three techniques of increasing sales through
- increase number of customers – new leads (through our Xiao Bei homepage, flyers, business cards, partner companies)
- increase the number of transaction per customer (loyalty cards)
- increase average dollar spend per customer per transaction (special promotions on more orders)
While we did increase our sales, we were scratching our head trying to look for a USP (Unique Selling Product in our case) for Xiao Bei – we are not the only one selling taiwanese cusine, we are not the cheapest, we can’t entertain (must watch the video to understand why i say entertainment)… so what is our USP???
It was not until i kept hearing from my recently made IM friends asking for our Xiao Bei Beancurd Chicken Wings (like my mastermind leader Derrick Lee who makes money online) that it begins to dawn on me that hey, the USP is right in front of us and we didn’t realise it.
Here we have the ONE and ONLY BEANCURD CHICKEN WING in Singapore – what could be more UNIQUE.
We have also received testimonials saying our Beancurd Chicken Wings are the best in town (by Jan Lau in Jul 08).
With our USP identified, we will be able to position ourselves better and bring our business to another level.
