The new year 2009 is already in her second week. How has it been going so far for you? Have you even set your resolutions yet?
As for me, it has been a great start so far and i am still quite in line with my Resolutions 2009.
For a start, we brought Ashton and Ashlyn to the MacRitchie Reservoir for a morning walk (Resolution #13). Ashton is very excited about the trip, running around looking for tortises, walking through the “jungle” and trying to get “lost” in jungle.
Below are pictures of Ashton posing in front of MacRitchie Reservoir and both Ashton & Ashlyn playing on a bench.
We then made our way into the “jungle” as Ashton terms it. He is referring to his book “Lost In the Jungle” and he is so happy and was even expecting see some lions and hippos.
We ended the trip slightly early than planned as dark clouds starting to gloom the skies. Even so, it was a great trip and exercise for the whole family and we look forward to the next family outing.
Before i forgot, also want to mention that our Fu Gui Hua (translated in english as Rich Flower) has finally blossomed after 3 long years, hurray!

MacRitchie Reservoir is a nice place but our favourite is still Upper Pierce Reservoir. I post some pictures here next time.

We love to go MacRitchie too cos’ of the tortises, fishes and monkeys! *wink*
Hi Angeline,
MacRitchie is really a nice place to go but there seemed to be much lesser fishes and tortises near the bridge as compared to 3 years ago.
It’s ok to have a comment.
