Ashlyn is sick today so we can’t bring both our darlings to their current favourite - NDP 08 rehearsals in Marina Bay / Esplanade. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise due to the passing shower in the evening.
Carried Ashton on one hand and tried to catch the action from our house. Though we can still see RSAF CH-47D Chinook flying past clearly with the Singapore flag. They are still backed by 3 RSAF Attack Apache Helicopters and still got Ashton thrilled, the cloudy outlook made the F16s and Black Knights looked so blur and so tiny. Btw, the Black Knights seemed to have changed their stunts…probably due to bad weather.
Luckily, we still have some pictures and videos we took of the rehearsals last week and can still satisfy Ashton’s “hunger” for Chinooks and aeroplanes.
If you haven’t seen any of the display, here’s few of the photos taken last week. Taken using my Canon Power Shot A640, enjoy
Sorry folks, only posting 1 RSAF Black Knight shot as the rest are in videos. You can refer to Part I of this post here (with RSAF CH-47D Chinook, Apache and F16s photos)
Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore!
