Oh no, i just realised that i didn’t post out Part III of the National Day Parade NDP 2008 Rehearsals. Luckily it is still Aug or else it will be useless posting.

We went to the NDP Full Dress rehearsals on 2 Aug 08 and this time round we were at One Fullerton instead of Esplanade. We also went extra early so that we can catch the SAF Red Lions parachute down and also the F3000 powerboats, wakeboarders, jet ski, pargo jets and stunt kites.

Ashton and Ashlyn were simply amazed by the Stunt kites and Wakeboarders as we didn’t managed to see them the previous few times due to Ashton napping too late. This time round we even managed to get a “front” seat, haha, on the floor to get the best view. See Ashlyn below waiting for the displays.

They were followed by the yearly crowd pleasers - the SAF Red Lions parachuters.  There were screams everywhere when they slowly descended from the sky….Ashton & Ashlyn included of course.

In the end, we didn’t get to stay for the fireworks display because Ashton was hungry already. A penalty we have to pay for pushing his schedule earlier, hee.

No more coverage on the actual National Day Parade NDP 2008 itself as it rained when we were about to reach and we have no choice but to drive to my mother-in-laws place to catch the parade from a distance.

Ashton and Ashlyn will surely miss all the fun of catching the displays “live” for the past 6 weeks. Fortunately, we still have lots of videos and photos to quench their thirst. It will be another 1 year wait for the NDP 09. Till then, we wish Singapore a HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY. WE LOVE SINGAPORE!
